Psalm 117

The Lord's Faithfulness Endures Forever

117 ^(A)Praise the Lord, all nations!
    Extol him, all peoples!
² For ^(B)great is his steadfast love toward us,
    and ^(C)the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

It seems like people in our society today have more of a voice if they are against the Lord than for the Lord.  People mock the Lord and His mighty works.  Yesterday I heard a newscast regarding a boulder that came within inches of hitting a church.  The introduction of the story raised the question as to whether it was a divine intervention or not.  I told my husband that I believed that is very reason we see fewer miracles today, because of the unbelief of the people.  Miracles were intended to bring God the glory but rather we continue to try to make it a man thing. 

This scripture is clear, we, all nations, need to PRAISE THE LORD!  If we don’t now we will in the end.  I want to be sure that I do so both now and then and forevermore.  Seek Him and know that He is God, worthy to be praised.
